Hawaii State Requirements

Producers must complete 24 credit hours each license period with 3 of those credit hours on the topic of ethics. The remaining 21 hours should be in the line of authority held.  If multi-lines licensed, 10 hours must be in Life/Health and 11 hours must be in Property/Casualty courses.

Repeats: Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 2 year license term.

Carryover: Excess CE hours may not be carried over to the next license term.

Specific topics are required if selling these products:

• Annuity Best Interest: Initial training required. No ongoing CE required.
• Flood: Initial training required. No ongoing CE required.
