Hard to follow
I was extremely excited to take BMFCE courses. This far I have taken two, an Ethics Class – Cheaters and Snitches and general CE – Active Shooter Insurance. From the way the classes are edited, it’s obvious they are prerecorded. The instructor will be in the middle of thought then it will jump cut to the instructor making an entirely different point – this makes the classes hard to follow. My expectations were “real-life situations applicable to the insurance world” which is not what we received. I would appreciate the storytelling if it was cut down and circled back to applied insurance knowledge. My suggestion to the BMFCE team, have the instructor follow bullet point notes so we stay on topic, find insurance/claim-related stories, and lay out the scenario so you can point to examples in your story where it relates to insurance. In the ethics class, if the story of the cheating baseball player was a claim scenario or applicable to insurance at all it would have been interesting but the story ended with no point. The current format is endless storytelling with little to no direction and it lacks an insurance perspective.
Recommend this to others
I recommend the webinar on Insurance Ethics Today. The format was effective as it was like listening to an old friend tell relevant stories about appropriate vs. inappropriate interactions with others. There was no preaching of ‘this is right and this is wrong’. Rather, the presenter used every day interactions to highlight the types of situations that can get us in trouble.
Awsome!
Fast and easy for only $10.00 cannot beat that!
Continuing Education for Life
I took most of my continuing education from this team and I must say it was very enjoyable and they were helpful and accommodating. Needed a little assistance at first and they were right there. They are my provider for life.
Great conversation!
So much more enjoyable listening to Robert having a conversation then reading and taking tests. Interesting subjects as well! If you plan out your time wisely you can listen a few hours a week and get those credits.
Webinars
BMFCE is a great way to complete your CE. The webinars are interesting and the time goes by fast. There are no tests, which is nice! The staff are all very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend it!
Great Program
ThIs is a great way to complete CE without having to read for several hours and then having to complete an exam.
Outstanding
In my over thirty years in insurance, these presentations have been outstanding with respect to content and real life examples. I highly recommend them.
Great session
Very informative, I like the no exam feature.
I actually quoted from a CE session within an hour
Ethics is normally pretty bland and kinda boring. Not here, a story telling style and patient personal delivery brought the subject to life. I even used an example from the seminar in a conversation with a co-worker within an hour of completing the class. I may not ever use an emoji at work ever again.
Great Topics!
I love the way the instructors approach the topics, they make it engaging from the beginning. Real-life examples. Great classes!
CE Online Classes
The classes are always engaging, and the topics are interesting. I really appreciate that Robert puts thought into the presentations; nothing generic and always a takeaway for me, learning something new.
CE’s in general
Information presented in easily digestible chunks. Knowledge shared in comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Excellent customer service and follow up. I was not comfortable with webinars until this experience.
Rock N Roll class
This case study was very informative and interesting as well! Thank you for mixing up insurance with real cases.
Self Study Courses
I have really appreciated the self study courses for my continuing education credits. Since I work I’m not always able to be available for the webinars. I can do a section, stop and continue later, if I need to review any section before the test, I can!
Silent movie
It was just a lot of video’s you could not hear. And yes it is endless story telling.
If you like story telling this is for you!
Just endless personal stories was not my cup of tea. After while it was listening to Charlie Browns Teacher wah wah wah wah.
All the classes I have taken so far
These classes are very good and have a lot of thought put into them. He knows how to get you involved and brings up really good topics. He keeps your mind stimulated, his classes are far from your ordinary bland classes. I highly recommend these guys and will be coming back for years to come.
Conflicts of Interest and Rationalizations
Rob is my favorite CE professor! He puts everything into a modern day prospective that makes you see things differently. Rob’s passion for insurance and education is clear through his teaching. Thank you for keeping things interesting!!
Ethics CE
I have been a licensed agent in Maryland since 1979 and this was probably the only class that kept my full attention. It was laid back and I felt the presentation was great. I was not so sure in the first several minutes then I realized this guy approaches things different than most of the other boring – dull CE trainers. I have already recommended Robert to others and I am so very grateful I stumbled upon his website.
Cheaters and Snitches
Cheating is a wrong in any form of communication or activity. Snitch is a negative word developed and used by Cheaters to justify their wrong by proclaiming a violation of loyalty. Thus, avoiding the truth.
Robert is awesome!!
Robert is so engaging and makes the class relevant to todays world. Love taking classes from him!!
Insurance Agent
Robert has a relaxed and informative teaching style. All courses are prerecorded, yet Robert is available to answer any questions that are sent thru the chat box. Robert has been an insurance agent for several years so he has good stories to help understand the class’ objective . I appreciate the opportunity to get 24+ hours of diverse insurance education without tests, but thru variable timed attendance questions for each class. The classes are in 1, 2 and 3 hour increments, with well placed 10 minute breaks. An agent could take 1, 2 or 3 classes each day OR each week OR each month– a very flexible class schedule is available.
